Discover the Cornouaille botanical park

Ready for a plant journey with 1,000 colours? This is what awaits you in Combrit, in the Cornouaille Botanical Park! An enchanted interlude in the heart of a 45,000 m² green setting, with an impressive collection of plants from the four corners of the world.

It is only 18 minutes from the Manoir de Kerhuel**** that you can discover this English garden which has more than 4,000 botanical species!

Cornouaille Botanical Park: a stroll in the heart of an exceptional garden

Over 45,000 m², this English garden reveals an exceptional flora – 25,000 plants and 4,000 species – from the four corners of the world: Japan, Chile, Siberia, Canada and Costa Rica.

Some rare species even come from New Zealand!

On the program: captivating scents and vibrant colors, from the anise-scented magnolia to the vanilla-scented Colletia Cruciata, and the impressive rhododendron Halopeanum.

An explosion of colors throughout the seasons

In winter, the camellias reveal their delicate nuances, while in spring, the deciduous magnolias and the brightly colored rhododendrons take over.

In autumn, it is the turn of the Japanese and Chinese azaleas to dress the Botanical Park in flamboyant colors.

The hydrangeas, available in 75 varieties, also offer an infinite palette of shapes and shades.

The aquatic garden of the botanical park

In summer, you will have the chance to stroll along the aquatic garden, where water lilies, lotuses and subtropical plants from Chile, Costa Rica and Australia flourish.
Some banana trees even produce small bunches there!

Look up to admire the Etna broom, the shrub can reach 4 meters high, and it is even more spectacular when it is in bloom.

Visit the mineralogy museum

The Cornouaille Botanical Park is also home to a mineralogy museum, where more than 1,200 minerals are exhibited.
Organized into three large sections, the collections present specimens from the Armorican Massif, France and around the world.

To extend this enchanted interlude, enjoy the relaxation areas of the Manoir de Kerhuel.
