General terms and conditions of sale
Foreword
These terms of sale and the booking made by the Hotel or by any tourist office offering the Hotel’s services are an agreement between the guest and the hotel. The booking between the hotel and the guest becomes final when the guest sends their full details, the booking date, and a method of payment, implying the unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.
Any other document, such as a leaflet or brochure, marketing documents, etc., are excluded from the scope of this agreement.

Article 1 - Prices
The prices indicated are in Euros and include VAT at the rate applicable on the date of the booking. Any change in the applicable rate, or any change in or introduction of new legal taxes imposed by the relevant authorities will be automatically reflected in the prices shown on the date of invoice.
The prices are per room for the number of people indicated and according to the period chosen. They do not include services that are not mentioned, such as breakfast, meals, etc. (except otherwise mentioned)
The visitor's tax of €1.10 per day and per person is not included in the price displayed and must be paid directly on site.
A supplement may be charged for some services and these may be subject to change without warning. Under no circumstances may the hotel be held liable for this.
No full or partial refunds will be made for stays booked prior to any introduction of a promotional offer.

Article 2 - Bookings and Payment Methods
Bookings can be made on the www.manoirdekerhuel.fr website or on any other website offering the hotel’s rooms, by telephone, email or post.
A booking is only firm if it is guaranteed by the guest, either by providing us with a credit card number with a valid expiry date or by paying a deposit, and after receiving a detailed confirmation of the booking.
Payment of all the services will be made at the hotel directly (with the exception of bookings prepaid at the time of booking).
The hotel reserves the right to refuse any booking if the credit card number should prove incorrect or if the booking is incomplete.
All bookings are only payable in euros, no matter how they were made.
The hotel takes the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
For group bookings or bookings connected with a wedding, we ask for a deposit of 50% of the booking.
Guests alone are responsible for their choice of services and whether they suit their needs and the Manoir de Kerhuel cannot be held liable in this regard.

Article 3 - Force Majeure
Force majeure is any insurmountable unforeseen or uncontrollable external event that prevents the guest from staying at the hotel. The hotel cannot be held liable in this instance and the guest will not receive any refund or compensation.
Article 4 - Modification and Cancellation of a Stay
Any modification or cancellation of a stay must be requested by email at contact@manoirdekerhuel.fr or by phone at +33 (0)2 98 82 60 57.
The request only becomes effective when the hotel confirms their agreement in writing.
In the event of the modification or cancellation of a stay, the following terms apply:

In the event of a guest continuing their stay, they must warn the hotel reception staff by 10.00 am at the latest on the day they are due to leave, to find out if a room is available.

In the event of the modification or cancellation of a stay, the following terms apply:
- For any request made less than 48 hours before the planned arrival date, we will invoice the total amount of the booking.
- In the event of a no-show on the planned arrival date, we will debit your credit card for the total amount of the booking.
- Any stay begun is due in full.
For bookings made on a partner’s website, cancellations must be made through this website. The cancellation terms that apply are those of our partner and they may be different to those of the hotel.
In the event of a guest continuing their stay, they must warn the hotel reception staff by 10.00 am at the latest on the day they are due to leave, to find out if a room is available.
Article 5 - The Hotel and its Services
The price of a children’s breakfast applies to children up to the age of 12 included.
Pets are allowed in the hotel for a €15 charge per night, but are not allowed in the restaurant due to hygiene concerns.
Rooms are available from 5 pm and must be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure. A supplement may be invoiced if you do not respect the maximum departure time. If you are checking in after 8.00 pm, the reception staff must be warned

Article 6 - Relocation
In the event of the hotel being full, the hotel keeper reserves the right to accommodate the guest in a hotel rated in the same class and offering the same type of services, for all or part of their stay. The transfer will be paid by the hotel keeper, who may not be pursued for any payment or additional compensation.
Article 7 - Claims
Any claims must be sent to the hotel by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within a period of 15 days following check out at the end of the stay concerned by the claim. No claims will be taken into account beyond this period.
Article 8 – Data Protection
Under the Information Technology, Data Files and Civil Liberty Law 78-17, guests are warned that the personal data connected with their booking is subject to data processing. Users have a right to access and rectify their personal data. This can be exercised by contacting our registered office: SARL MAGIC MANOR route de Quimper 29720 Plonéour Lanvern.
Please note that the data are not transmitted to third parties.
Guests also have a right to refuse the processing of their data, to limit it, and to the portability of personal data. Such a refusal will result in the hotel being unable to process the booking request, since a minimum of data is required (surname, first name, telephone number and payment method).

The hotel offers Wi-Fi internet access. The guest undertakes to ensure that the computer resources made available to him are not used in any way for illegal purposes.

Article 9 - Liabilities
The hotel declines all responsibility in the event of the theft of, loss of, or damage to the guest’s belongings during their stay, whether inside or outside the hotel, such as in the gardens or car parks.
The guest will be held liable for any damage or deterioration, or act of vandalism that might occur due to the occupation of the premises and/or due to the participants and/or staff for which they are responsible, or by themselves, to movable, decorative and immovable property belonging to the hotel or not.
The guest agrees and undertakes to use the room with due care and attention. Any behaviour contrary to standards of good behaviour and to public order will result in the hotel owner asking the guest to leave the establishment, without compensation and without any refund if a payment has already been made.

Article 10 - Applicable Law
These general terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law. This is true for both substantive and formal rules. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.

Personal data provided by the guest are subject to processing for the purpose of customer management and canvassing, carried out by the Manoir de Kerhuel (Data Controller), based on article 6 of the RGPD, paragraphs b, c, and f. The data recipients are the company’s internal departments, on a need to know basis, as well as partners and subcontractors who undertake to respect the RGPD. The data will be kept for the time needed to manage the commercial relationship and for 3 years, in the context of prospecting, which can be renewed if the prospective guest agrees.
Any person may assert their rights (access, rectification, deletion, limitation, portability, opposition) by contacting the Manoir de Kerhuel, and if necessary contact the Commission Nationale Informatique et Liberté - CNIL (French data protection authority).
